Are you ready to test your fitness? Come down to Durham University’s state of the art fitness centre to race against rowers and athletes of every kind. We are offering both BUCS events for university rowers as well as guest events for college rowers, amateur rowers, and athletes from any sport.

50% of all ticket prices will go to supporting Sport in Action Zambia, Team Durham’s partner charity.

NEW FOR 2024: COLLEGE EVENTS! Along with new events, comes new prizes! DUBC is delighted to offer a £100 donation to the overall winning college boat club (if we get 40 college entries), along with a case of beers to the winning team in each of the relay competitions! 


Rules and Information:

Racing starts at 11:00 am and the timetable will be released closer to the event. You are advised to arrive up to an hour before your race.

BUCS events are open to any university rower and entries are registered through BUCS Play. If entering as part of BUCS, entry information can be found on the BUCS event webpage above.

Guest events are open to any rower or athlete from any sport. Tickets can be bought through the website linked above or by card machine on the day, depending on event availability.

All lightweight competitors will be required to weigh in on arrival (<75kg for men, <61.5kg for women)

There will be warm-up equipment for use before the event and changing rooms on site for your use.

There is an athlete tailored cafe on site for all your nutritional needs.

Medals will be provided for the winner in each category at an award ceremony held after the racing has ended.

Photos will be taken at the event in line with Durham University policy. If you are unwilling to be photographed please get in touch.
